These Air Fryer Apples are baked with cinnamon and maple syrup for a quick and delicious snack, breakfast, or dessert. Serve atop yogurt or ice cream with a sprinkle of granola for an extra special treat!
Chop the apples into bites-sized cubes (about ½ inch cubes). No need to peel the apples!
Add the apple cubes, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt to a mixing bowl. Mix until the apples are evenly coated.
Add the apples to a lined air fryer basket. Break the butter into small chunks and drop them over the apples.
Cook the apples for 10 to 12 minutes on 400F or 200C. (No need to preheat!) Serve right away or let cool and store for later.
Notes
This recipe makes 2 to 4 servings, depending on whether you serve it as a stand-alone dish or use it as a topping. Nutritional info is calculated for 4 servings.
I recommend using an air fryer liner for this recipe since it can get quite messy.
