Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ tablespoon vegan butter
  • teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Chop the apples into bites-sized cubes (about ½ inch cubes). No need to peel the apples!
  • Add the apple cubes, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt to a mixing bowl. Mix until the apples are evenly coated.
  • Add the apples to a lined air fryer basket. Break the butter into small chunks and drop them over the apples.
  • Cook the apples for 10 to 12 minutes on 400F or 200C. (No need to preheat!) Serve right away or let cool and store for later.

Notes

  • This recipe makes 2 to 4 servings, depending on whether you serve it as a stand-alone dish or use it as a topping. Nutritional info is calculated for 4 servings.
  • I recommend using an air fryer liner for this recipe since it can get quite messy.
